Automation1 iSMC Notice:

If you have ordered any of the following from Aerotech alongside the Automation1-iSMC, you do not need to download and install the Automation1-iSMC from this page:

1. Automation1-iPC
2. Automation1 drive-based controller
3. Integrated automation system for which we install the iSMC as part of the scope of supply

Instead, you should install Automation1 MDK from the downloads page on your PC.

To install the Automation1 iSMC on your PC, ensure you have purchased a PC-based version not meant for any of the listed items above.

Never install a drive-based iSMC version on PC hardware or a PC-based version on drive hardware. .

Software Activation

To continue the software activation, you must have access to the Activation Request file that you created on the computer where you installed the software. Submit the Activation Request file. If the request is valid, an Activation Response file is created. Save the Activation Response file to your network or the external file storage device. You will need to have access to this file from the computer where you installed the software.

Select the Activation Request file from your network or external file storage device.

Enter In Activation Information

Enter the activation information that shows in the Activation Request file.

Submit the Activation Request File

If the request is valid, an Activation Response file is created. Save your Activation Response to the network or the external file storage device.

Your Software is Activated

Download Activation Code as XML

Save the Activation Response file to a network location or an external storage device such that you will have access to the file from the computer where you installed the software*. If you saved the Activation Response file to an external file-storage device, take the file-storage device with you to this PC.

*Note: You must use Automation1-MDK to activate Automation1-iSMC.
